Site Observations Day 5

Site 1: Top of the Trail
Organism- Green Plant
Species- Dryopteris arguta
Population- Baby plants
Community- trees, leaves, other plants
Ecosystem- wind, sun, tree, leaves, other plants, logs, fallen trees
See- I saw trees, spider webs, plants, logs, bugs, leaves, signs of spring, stump, thorns, thorns bushes, salamander
Feel- I felt a nice, cool, crisp breeze that made me feel calm and relaxed
Hear- I heard people talking, airplanes flying overhead, cars trees rustling, bird chirping

Site 2: Small Creek
Organism-Crayfish
Species- Crustaceans
Population- Baby crayfish
Community- Tadpoles, dragonfly larva, frogs
Ecosystem- Tadpoles, dragonfly larva, frogs, sunlight, wind
See- I saw tadpoles, frogs, pine trees, trees, logs, crayfish, bugs, dragonfly larva, rocks
Feel- I felt a warm breeze, sunlight, bugs flying
Hear- I heard leaves rustling, people talking, leaves crunching

Site 3: Another part of the Small Creek
Organism- Frog
Species- Amphibian
Population- Tadpoles
Community- Bugs, Frogs, Tadpoles
Ecosystem- Bugs, Frogs, Tadpoles, Sun, Wind, Leaves
See- I saw frogs, a creek, thorns, logs, rocks, steps, branches, trees ripples from the frog
Feel- I felt heat, sunlight, a small breeze
Hear- I heard the mini waves/current in the creek, the frog as it hit the water

Site 4: Beside the Pond
Organism- Canadian Geese
Species- Branta canadensis
Population- Baby Geese
Community- fish, birds
Ecosystem- fish, bird, sun, wind, cattails, algae
See- I saw 7 or more geese in the pond, cattails, pine tree, buses, cars, dock, gate, rocks, pine cones, acorns, roots, algae, birds
Feel- I felt the heat on my skin from being out in the open, little wind
Hear- I heard cars on the near by road, people talking, leaves crunching

Site Observations Day 4

Site 1: Pond

Geese's
I saw 10 brown and white geese and some all brown Canadian geese (Branta canadensis) in the pond, belonging to the Animalia kingdom

Site 2: Creek
Fungus on a log
On the log their is fungus that I saw by the pond belonging to the Plant kingdom
(Bacidia incompta)

I saw skunk cabbage by the creek, it was like a orange being pilled, it was red, green, white, and yellow in color by the creek belonging to the plant kingdom. (Symplocarpus foetidus)

 Site 3: Deep Woods 
Animal
Belonging to the Animal Kingdom, I saw a bee sleeping in a log, the bee was yellow and black.

-I saw all the animals and plants that I have included from
the bee to the skunk cabbage to the raccoon tracks.
-I felt the wind and the sun as they both brushed my face,
warming me and chilling me at the same time
-I heard my fellow classmates talk and buses and cars on the road
near by.

Site Observations Day 3, Site #'s 1, 2, 3, 4

Site 1
I saw leaves, grass, trees, a creek, rocks, weeds.
I heard water coming through a pipe, leaves crunching, a van coming by me.
I felt the sunlight, and a cool breeze blowing.
Site 2
I saw trees, leaves, little holes in a pine tree and below the tree was dead moss, also a wood pecker pecked a hole in another pine tree, thorns, pine needles, fungus, and an oak gall.
I heard leaves crunching, also complete and total silent, it was peaceful.
I felt the warm rays of the sun as they reached down and touched my face, but at the same time I felt the cold breeze pick up and ice my nose and ears.

Site 3
I saw fungus, holes in a dead log, leaves, trees, dead leaves and grass, and more thorns.
I heard leaves crunching, an airplane soaring in the distance.
I felt the sunlight warming up my face and also the cool air chilling my face.


Site 4
I saw a acorn that was half ate, moss, trees, leaves, logs, tree trunks, trees, dirt, sticks, a hill, rocks, thorns, a stump, bird, pond, and seaweed.
I heard leaves crunching, crows crowing, and dead silence.
I felt sunlight and also a little wind because of the fact we was between the trees.
